GCA224 Single servomotor controller for Servoset2.
Description
A nice linear move is sometimes a bit difficult to construct.
Since a 3D printer has become a common thing in many workshops (also mine!),
this option gave me a good idea how to construct a linear movement with a servo.
Allthough… it is in fact a bit more complicated than just linear, because the movement
starts slow, get a bit faster midway and slows down again at the end.
The full required move for this standard is 6 or 9 mm depending on the size of the used excentric.
More over the mechanic solution in the servoset2 here.
But to move the servoset2, a servomotor and servocontroller are needed.
And that controller can be this GCA224, with some extra options.
Featurs GCA224
- Two speed selectable for turnouts or signs(or railroad barriers)
- isolated command input max 5-12V from anything that has to activate the servo (can be a simple switch as well)
- double output for leds
- easy programming of the PIC12f675 (can be altered to your own desired task).
- switch to swap the left/right position from command input
